With a single-button closure and angled pockets. Front and back darts shape the fit. Virgin wool-acrylic blend. Fully lined. Midthigh length. Dry clean or hand wash. Imported in Deep Berry; Olive.

I'm 5'3" and usually run a medium, ordered a 10P fit well and love how its cut is perfect for us smaller gals. My only regret is that the burgundy wasn't available but the olive is great!

I did love this coat/sweater when I bought it last year; however, it has not worn well at all and it is now a mass of matted pills. I still wear it for warmth and comfort but it was a disappointment.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband after I saw it in the catalog & suggested it. I was less than impressed when I received it. The material sags & the lining does not help with the sagging. I had to cut some threds that looked like they were meant to hold the lining in place. The threds only made the look of the jacket worse.

I should have read the other reviews first. This garment is not at all like the picture. It's cut like a car coat; no graceful lines. The one I got hangs weird--wrinkles up and grabs around the legs even after I put it on a padded hanger overnight to let it relax. I kept looking to see if the lining was sewn in wrong. The knit is soft, but the one I got has unsightly interruptions in the diamond pattern. Makes a great case for waiting for free shipping; it costs too much just to try it on, then costs you AGAIN to send it back. I'm dissatisfied.

Loved this jacket but I was only able to wear it one season since it got really pilly and worn looking in no time! It broke my heart to get rid of it! I am not hard on my clothes and this was too expensive for the poor quality of the knit.

I like the fact that this is soft and lightweight. But it does not hang quite right and seems to run a little small. I wear a medium and I wonder if it was not sized properly. For the expense, I would have expected it to lay better. I should have returned it.

I Love this coat

Without a doubt this is one of the best coats that I have ever bought. It is lightweight yet very warm. I bought the charcoal for its flexibility and it goes with everything that I wear from jeans to more dressy attire. I live in Korea and when I flew back here from the States I put it into one of those compression bags where you suck all the air out and it easily fit into my suitcase and then sprang back to life when I got here. I just can't say enough how much I love, love, love this coat and best of all I bought it when it was on sale.

Does Not Hang Right

I thought this jacket was going to be a favorite of mine. In fact it has so much potential...it just isn't made very well. Like another reviewer, the jacket I received puckered up in the front below the pockets on both sides. It just does not hang right. Not like the picture at all. Hopefully a tailor can fix it... You have to love it, to be ready for that additional expense.

The picture looked great and I bought it on sale. I was looking for a more structured, tailored jacket, and this item is really just a long sweater. If that's what you're looking for then you'll love it.

Girl's Best Friend Jacket dissapointing

I was so smitten by the photos of this coat that I purchased 2, one gray, one red. I have worn them both several times over the last month and am disappointed to see they are getting all balled up and have snags all over them. I am attempting to repair the snags as they come, by using a crochet hook. I was wanting carefree light coats, and have found they are not at all durable. I am sorry I bought 2, to learn this expensive lesson.

I wish I could find more jackets with this fit.
The length hides hips and gives a longer leaner look. The fabric looks hand knit, which makes it apear much more expensive than it is. The charcoal is rich. It is perfect for travel and doesn't wrinkle at all. Warm, but light weight. Runs true to size as a roomy blazer, not a coat.

I gave this 2 stars, but only for the material. The lining inside of mine was sewn in incorrectly. It looked like they had more "coat" material than lining and ended up pulling both ends in order for it to fit. Because the bottom of the lining is loose and not attached, they were able to do this. But, when I put it on, both bottom front ends looked crooked because of this. Also, there was a big bunch of thread pulled out of coat on the back. If you can get one that is not defective, it's well worth it. The material is beautiful. I had the charcoal in a Small. I am 5"4', 124 lbs and it fit snug which is the way I happen to like it.

I love this coat. It's a youthful look, yet ageless...Lightweight, yet warm. Slimming...It's a great traveling coat that can pack easily since it's not too bulky. Looks good with a skirt, dress or jeans. Dress-it-up with a fur collar or cashmere scarf. I'm getting a second one in another color!

I have waited for over a year for this jacket to go on sale. I love the jacket. It is fairly lightweight but warm. The reason I rated the fit a #4 was because one of the pockets didn't hang quite flat and it may be due to being wrapped in shipping. Hopefully it will hang out. I would reorder it in a minute.

This is a super choice for a winter jacket that will cover you warmly with its fashion sense from Fall thru Winter. Love it will dress pants or jeans!
