Looks great but.....
Date:May 20, 2011
This is a very nice sack but its really big. The first time I used it my wife asked me if I was running away from home! The quality is very good and the bag is well organized and well constructed. It has grown on me but I am worried about this supporting a laptop. I may use it as an overnight bag and order the cabin bag. BTW, TA replaced my first cabin bag after 3 years because of a broken zipper with one. I thought that very classy!

Great bag, but
Date:February 2, 2011
This bag is a lot bigger than I thought, but it works perfectly for another task that I needed a bag for. I love the all leather bottom and all the pockets. Sadly, the snaps for the leather straps that hold the bag shut are not strong enough to keep it shut when carrying something. So, I'll use another strap or straps around the hadle to keep it shut. This bag also lacks the dedicated pen pouches found in other Guy Stuff bags. Still a very nice bag, though.

very attractive bag
Date:December 9, 2010
This is a very nice bag. It has lots of room for items. I have recieved compliments and have noticed that it draws attention from others. The price is somewhat steep, however I ordered it when the discount coupon was offered. Would have been nicer with free shipping or free monogram. I may purchase purchase the gear bag in the future.

a great everyday bag
Date:September 6, 2010
i've used this bag everyday for two years and it still looks great. it's easy to clean with mild soap and water. i've gotten many compliments on the style of this bag, in fact another teacher said he had the same bag (sans monogram) but was afraid to use it everyday. don't be afraid... it's a workhorse!

Disappointed
Date:September 5, 2010
Loved the style & features & look... but this canvas bag was too flimsy. No structure or support at all. For the price, was a let down. Returned it

Flimsy, Floppy & NOT Good for a Computer
Date:July 29, 2010
First the good news: It looks great and is nothing like you'll see anywhere else. There are lots of pockets. The canvas is OK quality and the zippers seem to be sturdy. The leather is nice and soft. The main compartment is cavernous.
Now the bad news: This is a terrible bag if you want to carry a computer. I admit, I bought this bag for the purpose of carrying my laptop with me on short trips to our vacation homes. This bag is just that: a BAG – a flimsy cloth bag with handles and leather treatments. I wouldn't put my laptop in this bag because there's not enough padding and there's just no "body" to this bag. My wife took one look at the bag and said to me, "You're not planning on putting your computer in this, are you?"
If you want a bag to carry soft items such as a change of undies, socks, a towel, any other clothing that can be wadded up (and wrinkled), or mail, then this bag is an OK choice. However, there are better laptop bags out there. The "padded laptop pocket" TTA mentions in the description is woefully inadequate. Truthfully, I wouldn't even put my hardback books in this bag because they'd just get beaten up due to the lack of substance and/or structure to this bag. I have other "Guy Stuff" bags from TTA and I've come to the conclusion that although they might vary in size and shape, they're all pretty much the same – rather flimsy with leather treatments but not sturdy in any real way.
To be fair, though, they are very nice looking. If I needed a soft bag for clothes, I'd keep it. It would be nice if TTA came up with a real laptop bag/briefcase, because if they could incorporate the "Guy Stuff" concept with something STURDY, they could have a winner. As of now, though, for a laptop-compatible bag, keep looking.

Even better than expected!
Date:February 18, 2010
INDIANA JONES IN THE CITY LOOK! I have to admit I had to really give ordering this bag a LOT of thought. After all...$200 + S&H for a mostly canvas bag---with some buffalo leather trim....Hmmm. To order or not to order? However, as soon as soon as I received it, I absolutely knew I had made the right choice! This bag far exceeds all my expectations and is very, very well-made. I think this bag may even outlast me! Not to mention---it looks very cool. The on-line description left me with a few questions as far as the inside pockets/pouches. There are lots of pockets, but not too many, and all are well-thought-out, as far as accessibility, placement and SECURITY. This is NOT an ordinary, attache-type bag where any stranger, or passerby, can easily slide in their hand and steal any of its contents. In fact, there is a long, zippered, inside flap that runs the entire length of the bag which completely seals off ALL inside contents. As far as the laptop pouch, I don't usually carry my laptop with me but if I do, the laptop pouch is well-padded and will hold my 15.4" laptop perfectly. NOTE: If you have a larger laptop than 15.4", it will fit inside the bag but NOT inside the padded, laptop pouch itself. Also, I am, IN NO WAY and never have been, a "monogram type guy"---not in the least! However, at the last minute, I decided to go for it on this bag. I selected the #1 MONOGRAM style. The monogram they did looks great---very professional, classy and not overly large. The monogram color is exactly the same color as the buffalo leather and it is placed on the big, outside pouch---just below the large, triangular, leather flap. To me, that area of the bag looked kind of bare and needed something to "jazz-it-up" a little anyway. The monogram is very subtle and very tastefully done. WOW, I'm really glad I did it. It gives the bag an extra nice, finished look. BOTTOM LINE: It's a great, well-made bag that looks VERY COOL! It's kind of pricey, but worth it! (Do the monogram--it really MAKES the bag---and makes it YOURS!) So cool.
