Bali Blue Batik Shirt
A true batik, hand printed in Bali - very South Pacific, but also perfect for late-summer trips down the Allagash, or beach bumming anywhere your wanderlust takes you. Deep ocean colors glow in a subdued pattern. The 100% cotton poplin is lightly peached for a soft finish. With abalone-style buttons, one pocket, straight hem with side vents, and a laid-back fit. Machine washable. Imported in Multicolor.

The Blue Bali Batik Shirt has a great design to it and the blue coloring is magnificent. For someone who is looking for a casual hang loose shirt this is it.

My husband is becoming an XXL from an XL and I was nervous to buy him an XXL and it is a little too big, but better too big than too small. The colors are gorgeous. You can dress the shirt up or down. I love him in it.

Vivid color with an interesting pattern. Expect; however, that being batik, there are some areas in the pattern that can look more "worn" than others - adds interest to the overall presentation. Straight bottom hem allows shirt to look great untucked. The size that I had selected (M) is spot-on.

My wife and I have bought dozens of items from Territory Ahead and have been absolutely delighted with each purchase. Each purchase, that is, except this shirt.
It's cut very small, and there were large blotches front and back. Almost as if the material had been folded before the dye had dried, giving it a "tie-died-like" appearance.
Very disappointed, sent it back.

The shirt I received had odd lighter color blotches all over it. Looked more like bleach stains than the intended pattern on the material. The material felt great and the fit was good but I sent it back.

My husband picked out the shirt and he says it's fine. But, since I have to look at it, wash and iron it, I give the reviews ;). Most reviewers seemed to like the 'bleached' worn look of the shirt. Me, not so much. I find the material to be pretty stiff. Perhaps after several washes it will be softer. And, I suggest washing it before the first wear (so you don't look like you forgot to take the hanger out).

I love this shirt. It is on the top of my list for the shirts I've ordered this year. The blues are brilliant in some places and look faded or runny in other places. It also looks great coming directly from the dryer. A true wash and wear. The material is a sturdy cotton that is holds its shape even after many washings. Although the fabric is medium weight, it is cool and comfortable. I am very pleased.

Quality fabric, summer weight, but not flimsy. A visual feast of blues. Built nicely. You might get away without ironing this one, and still look presentable.

The store has this exact same color - shown on the website - in stock, if they carry it; I've also seen other people wearing this shirt in public before.
Order it online, however, you may or may not end up with a darker variation of the shirt, that's predominantly a darker blue than what's shown on this item's page.
Just a fair warning for those ordering online; not even a problem if you don't mind a darker variation; it's still blue.
Otherwise, it's still a very creative, distinct pattern, and the color's modest, so if you want something different, without standing out too much, this's definitely a good choice.
