Old Steamboat's Cord Shirt
The bronco on Wyoming license plates honors a horse named Old Steamboat, who would not be ridden. This shirt celebrates his spirit in a 16-wale cotton corduroy so fine it drapes like a T. Each plaid is yarn-dyed and garment washed to soften the palette. Details include horn-style buttons, button-down collar, chest pocket, and two-position cuffs with button-through sleeve plackets. Easygoing fit. Machine washable. Imported in Autumn Multi; Red Windowpane; Blue-Red; Gray-Blue; Sunset Plaid.

The shirts just arrived and I couldn't be more pleased. They certainly do have a 'weathered' look, but that's exactly what I wanted. I ordered the gray-blue and the red, and both colors are very attractive - my husband is going to be quite happy with these. I will probably be adding more of these shirts in the future.

this workhorse proudly shouts masculinity while likewise serenades your gentile traits toward your darling. best, me thinks, with a pair of aged denim trousers and some leather foot gear, this garment shall proceed your intent with grand measure. order a size up as the dryer's heat shrinks this fabric quite a bit. then, wear it with gusto, and slyly take in the subtle notices.

I just received my shirts (Red Windowpane and Blue Gray) - they are beautiful shirts. Some reviewers have stated that the shirts are more faded than the pictures on the site. To my eye, they may be a little more faded looking (not really that much), but to me that is a plus. They look like you have owned them for years, washed them many times, and somehow, magically, they look like new - no fraying at the cuffs and collar. (of course, that is because they ARE new - but I won't tell if you don't.) I like the well worn, but pristine, look. I do understand that a buyer may feel fooled that they are not exactly as pictured, but if you are aware in advance then you will not be surprised that look is beautifully aged.
The material is wonderfully soft. I have not bought cord shirts before because the ones I examined were too heavy and kind of stiff. These a deliciously soft, and a less heavy material than most cord shirts. The fit is perfect for me. I take a Medium (42" chest, 33" waist) and these fit perfectly. Not at all tight, but not hugely baggy - which I don't like.
These are my first cord shirts, and I couldn't be more pleased.I cannot attest to their long term sturdiness, but they do seem to be well made.
I can happily recommend this shirt if you are looking for a soft, comfortable, beautifully worn in looking shirt. I also bought them on sale - so the price was REALLY right!

Comfortable Fall/Winter Shirt

I've bought several of these and find them very comfortable, perfect for crisp Fall and cold winter. Colors are faded looking, fabric is soft, good fit = all around a great shirt that looks like its been washed and worn for years but still holding up well. A favorite of mine.

Got this shirt in the red windowpane for my husband of 37 years and he likes it a lot - wears it every week. Washes well, comes out of the dryer ready to wear. (I like that) The soft faded looking fabric is absolutely wonderful - I like to touch it (when its on him) all the time. Ordered his regular size and it fits in a relaxed way, just how he likes it. I did not notice any shrinkage in the wash.

I got this shirt for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. The only problem is the sizing. He is a classic L in almost every shirt, but he fit perfectly in a M from Territory Ahead. Overall, we recommend this shirt.

My husband had one of these shirts and wore it often so I bought several more for Christmas. The shirts are good quality and we liked all but one of the shirts due to colors. Colors didn't seem as nice as online. Returned but kept the rest. Overall great shirt.

I loved the color of the two shirts that I bought, but the quality is not up to the usual standards for a Territory Ahead shirt. The material frays around the button holes. The shirt is not sewn as well as other TA clothing and probably won't last through the season.

I hadn't bought a corduroy shirt for quite a few years, but when this one came I was instantly impressed with the softness and comfortable feeling compared with corduroy shirts that I had previously owned.
Although the colors were more muted than I had expected that has turned out to be a plus. I have received many compliments. The fit is perfect. Love the shirt!!!

Every Christmas and Birthday I buy from Territory ahead for the men in my life. I purchased the Old Steamboats Cord Shirt for my husband, father & father in law. Quite honestly I am thrilled with the quality of this shirt. My husband loves the warm and cozy feel of the shirt and the fact that we can wash it ourselves and it retains it's size and shape.
