Core Leather Vest
The leather is a rugged, slightly weathered skin that's been tumbled for softness and shaped for a slim, tailored fit. Lined with plaid flannel, it's cozier than most leather vests. Chest zip has a snapped storm flap. Four outside pockets, including a zipped napoleon security pocket; and three more inside (cell phone, wallet and another zipped napoleon). Professional leather clean. Imported in Black.

Wanted this last year but it was out of stock.So I waited until this summer, It arrived last week, superb quality but with one small issue, a front pannel did not match all of the others. I spoke with staff on the phone and a new vest was sent straight out. It arrived three days later and it is superb.
The quality of the leather, zipper, stitching and lining are five star. The leather is thick and obviously very durable, it will outlive me. One person said that the front pockets were very small, well at 6ft 2in and no fat, my hands are very large, I can get my fist in easily but could not place an open hand in one, but few of my jackets will not let me do that.
For the money it may be on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Now I am just waiting for some cold weather.

Well, as you can see, out of 15 reviews there's only one low rating so that tells you something. This is a guy's vest. It looks rugged, it feels rugged. The distressing is just right, giving it a natural worn look without going too far. The leather is thick. Plenty of pockets for the things you carry about regularly. I bought it for riding the Harley on cool San Diego mornings and it meets the specs beautifully. Why I put off buying it for so long, I don't know, but I'm glad I finally did. If you want a GQ look, try a nice tweed or something.

I have had many leather vests and truly this one is a "keeper". The fit is great and the leather is heavy and high quality with good attention to detail. The pockets are a little small but there are several. All in all, this is one of the best leather purchases I have made and, as always, this company is excellent to deal with.

This vest looks great, nice heavy leather with a well worn look and very well sewn. Unfortunately it falls way down in the design department. The pockets are small, not big enough for a man's hands and too shallow to be very useful. The left 'Napoleon' pocket would be a great place to keep a small cellphone, but be sure to zip it up every time or it will fall out. If you want to be rustic-stylish and don't care about function, this vest might do for you.

Got this yesterday. Been thinking about it for almost a year now. Well constructed, rugged looks, perfect fit, (size runs true). This will last forever & I will be able to wear it in a variety of conditions.

You just didn't know it. Beautiful leather, slightly worn look but not shabby. Nice quality and very comfortable - besides it looks cool. You can't beat the cool factor!

Core Vest is as Described

I received my vest and found it was exactly as described. It is a great addition to my wardrobe. I found the fit was right on and would not recommend going up or down depending on your normal fit. If U take XL buy XL. This vest runs true to size. I'm a XXL and that what I ordered and it fits perfectly. Another good purchase from Territory Ahead!

I have purchased a half dozen leather coats from TTA and while all (except one) have been top quality and fashionable this leather vest has been the best of the lot. Beautifully antiqued with thick quality leather and pockets aplenty it is destined to become a staple in my wardrobe. Highly recommended!

You can not really tell from the photos just how "worn" the look is, but it does look great. It has incredibly heavy duty zippers, and decent sized arm holes, however, one complaint would be the pockets. Though they give you several all of them are far to tiny, and I have small hands. That aside, it is a rugged looking and well made vest. I love mine, and found it ran either smaller or exactly true to size, not larger.

I have returned several leather jackets to Territory, because they turned out to be thin " fashion " leather
this is a genuine heavy leather vest, made like it should be, and nicely antiqued

Versatile Vest

This is a vest that can be worn over or under a jacket. My favorite is to wear a long sleeved T-shirt, a sweater and the vest to shovel snow in the winter. It keeps you warm without over heating and allows for free movement of your arms. The ample number of pockets is appreciated for all the accouterment of modern life.

As with my other purchases from The Territory Ahead, my Core Leather Vest exceeded the catalog description and my expectations. I had hope for a rugged but stylish version of a leather vest that had accompanied me on a bike trip up the Pacific Coast Highway some twenty years ago. From the moment I opened the delivered box and slid into my new vest I was not disappointed. My Core Leather Vest is rugged and stylish with an air of having "been there - done that". Whether it's a return ride up the Coast, a walk in Central Park or quick trip to the corner store, the Core Leather Vest is right on point. The leather is soft with a flannel lining which adds warmth. The fit is comfortable while roomy enough to add another layer for cutting the wind on an October afternoon's ride. I look forward to many year's of use and enjoyment from my Core Leather Vest.

I've actually owned this vest for about 2 years now. It's a heavy, durable vest that gets better with age, and takes a lot of abuse. I wear mine over a hooded sweatshirt, so the larger size works well. It's a heavy, well-made product!

I recently purchased the vest and am pleased with the quality and feel. It has a rugged classic look that differs from the traditional biker vest. It does run a little on the big side so if you're close on your size go the next size down. If you are planning on wearing it over another jacket it is true to size.
